Dr. Olivier, I read something that I dedicated to you on January 20, 1994 when I was a student at Nova Southeastern. You were such a wonderful mentor and kind friend. So many Black students benefitted from your Leadership and example. You always had an encouraging word. Your live exemplified your commitment to diversity and creating an enlightened educational workspace. The Road Less Traveled would have been a much darker place without you shining a lamp to show the way.
