Obituary of Beatrice Gelgur

> Our beautiful beloved Bea sadly passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 96. Bea leaves behind her children, who dearly loved her. She is the cherished Mother to son Dale & his wife Lita & daughter Lori. Loving Grandmother to Lauren & her husband Jihoon, and loving Aunt to Ronda, Alan, Lisa & Donna & many dear cousins & friends. The Gelgur family thanks and appreciates all the loving care given to Bea by the best caregivers, Leoni & Sandra. Bea was predeceased by her devoted husband, Raymond Gelgur, her parents, Millie & Hyman Shapiro, sister Lorraine & husband, Harry Fox & Lori’s husband, Bill. > Bea was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 26, 1927. Bea & Ray were were inseparable & Ray adored his wife. Bea was Ray’s receptionist and for many years; she typed on her electric typewriter the property leases. They shared many of the same interests: playing bridge, traveling & she was a good sport about Ray’s passion for fishing. > Bea will always be remembered for having the most adorable & delightful personality and everybody loved being with her. Precious Bea put a smile on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. We will all miss our dear, sweet Bea so very much.
